Description:
In a small Tuscan hill town, the residents have a unique way of dealing with problems: they reenact their lives on stage each summer. Everyone participates, playing versions of themselves in the annual piazza performance. This tradition has united Monticchiello for 50 years and gained international recognition. However, with an aging population and younger generations losing interest in the town's traditions, the 50th-anniversary show may be their last. *SPETTACOLO* explores the story of Monticchiello's People's Theatre, blending past events with the current process as the villagers transform recent hardships into a new play about the future of their community.
