Description:
The health-conscious Higgins family starts every day with a refreshing swim. Their routine is disrupted when Windy Weebe, a traveling health-tonic salesman, arrives with a suggestion: they should swim the English Channel. With sponsorship from "Liquapep" and coaching from Windy, the family travels to Europe. It’s soon decided that daughter Katie is the only one physically capable of competing. But as she prepares for this challenging and dangerous swim, Katie finds herself pursued by charming Frenchman André Lanet. This comedic musical is fondly remembered for a dream sequence where Katie imagines swimming with Tom and Jerry!
