Description:
A partridge narrates this delightful animated story, clarifying the traditional Christmas carol of the same name. Sir Carolboomer, a courageous hero, is in love with Princess Silverbell and tries to win her affection by stealing what he believes is her Christmas list. He mistakenly takes the answers to the King's crossword puzzle instead. He then asks his servant Hollyberry to find everything on the list – a series of unusual gifts including a partridge in a pear tree, eight maids a milking, and four calling birds. After twelve days of this gift-giving spree, the Princess realizes she's fallen for Hollyberry, the one who actually carried out the tasks, not Carolboomer.
