"My Wonderful Divorce" tells the story of Angela Kennedy Lipská, a woman in middle age who finds herself newly divorced after a lifetime of being a wife and mother, and is learning to navigate life on her own. This comedy by contemporary Irish playwright Geraldine Aron is a major success across Europe. The Czech production, directed by Jana Kališová and starring Eliška Balzerová in all roles, has sold out over 200 times. While Eliška Balzerová's performance is key to the show’s popularity, "My Wonderful Divorce" is a comedy that also explores the relatable and often sad realities of life for many women.
