Cinta Suci Zahrana (2012)

Siti Zahrana's academic achievements cause concern for her parents, who worry about her unmarried status in her early thirties despite numerous marriage proposals she has politely declined. Torn between fulfilling her parents' expectations and pursuing her own aspirations, Zahrana makes compromises. She rejects a teaching position at Gadjah Mada University because her parents in Semarang don't want her to live apart from them, choosing instead to teach locally and remain with them. She also declines a doctoral scholarship to China.
