Description:
Following a devastating event that shattered her admiration for someone she looked up to, Kara relocates to Los Angeles for a writing program. She quickly finds a home with Charlie Fratelli, a lively woman who enjoys wine and flirting. At school, Kara meets Jason, a reserved student who is drawn to her but struggles to express his feelings. Meanwhile, an older, charismatic novelist named Paul Reese captivates Kara with his gentle confidence. Soon, those who have wronged Kara begin to face dire consequences, and she starts to question her understanding of Paul.
