Description:
Sultan Khan of the Ottoman Empire falls in love with Princess Iren of Byzantium and requests her hand in marriage from her father, Niktol. Niktol refuses and attempts to kill Khan. Following this, Khan's armies conquer Constantinople, which is renamed Istanbul. Niktol murders Princess Iren and retreats to the island of Lesbos with his forces. From there, he launches brutal attacks on Turkish villages, resulting in the death of a Sultan's guard's mother. The guard, Murat, is tasked by the Sultan to avenge his mother's death and bring back Iren's killer. Murat goes undercover in Lesbos, posing as Royal Guard Kostas, to find the perpetrators.
