Description:
The story begins in a small village where the son lives with his father, and the daughter with her mother. Their parents are constantly fighting, often violently. The young lovers are discouraged from their relationship and sent to the city to find suitable partners and wealth, with the added goal of locating their parents. Their search proves fruitless; instead, they encounter trouble and are imprisoned after a fight with local thugs. Their parents unexpectedly find them, but problems escalate. The parents' attempts to impress their children with displays of wealth backfire, leading to foolish competitions that the young couple win, humiliating their parents.
