Description:
When Indranath's son falls ill, Guru Omkarananda advises prayer to the goddess Kamala. The son recovers, but Indranath is plagued by misfortune; his son and daughter both die. Overwhelmed by grief, the Queen, Kalyani, becomes mentally unstable. The goddess Kamala appears as Rupasi, Omkarananda's daughter. Virodhananda and his son Tribhanga are revealed to be incarnations of Narad and Narayan. The kingdom faces hardship. Omkarananda is arrested, and Rupasi seeks refuge with Bastabesh/Indranath, who is drawn to her. To avoid his attention, Rupasi takes shelter at Birodhananda's house, where he hopes to marry his son Tribhanga to her. Bastabesh pursues Rupasi/Kamala, who blinds him. Ultimately, divine intervention restores Bastabesh's sight and brings prosperity back to the kingdom.
