Description:
Freek, a 49-year-old advertising executive and media personality, seems to have a perfect life: successful in his career, with his supportive wife Iris, 39, and their ten-year-old adopted son Werner. Iris is ambitious and accomplished. Freek is known for his charm and womanizing. He falls for Alberta, a captivating 24-year-old, who convinces him to relocate to Alberta, in the Canadian Rockies. Their plan is to escape their lives in the Netherlands and collaborate on painting expressionistic landscapes. However, boredom sets in quickly, and Alberta soon departs in search of new experiences, leaving Freek feeling lost and alone. He must then confront the challenge of being on his own.
