Description:
This Showtime comedy spoofs Madonna's "Truth or Dare" documentary. Comedienne Julie Brown stars as Medusa, a self-absorbed and overtly sexual pop star on her international five-day tour, "The Blonde Leading the Blonde." Brown meticulously recreates the costumes, sets, and hairstyles of the original while satirizing Madonna’s preoccupation with herself. The film mirrors several of the documentary's moments: Madonna visits her mother's grave; Medusa visits her dog's (or is it "Boomer's"?) burial site. Madonna performs a suggestive act on a bottle at the behest of a friend; Medusa replicates the scene with a watermelon. And so it continues.
