Description:
Set in pre-independence Maharashtra, Vishwanath joins a revolutionary group after gaining the leader Vyenkatesh's trust. However, during their first secret mission, Vyenkatesh is killed in a fight against the British, and the mission fails. Vishwanath's childhood love, Indu, is caught in the aftermath. To evade the British, Vishwanath is placed under the care of the group's senior member, Vikram Gokhale, and given a false identity as a school teacher named Nilkanth. His initial task is to deliver the devastating news of Vyenkatesh's death to his beloved, Yashoda.
