Description:
This deeply personal documentary by Toshiko Takashi, former director of the Tokyo International Lesbian and Gay Film Festival (1992-93), revisits a low-income home in Osaka where she spent her childhood. There, she meets two women in their 70s. Returning three years later, she discovers the house is abandoned. The film weaves together poetic reflections and intimate moments between Takashi and her lover Sakura, a stripper, with the older women's lives and memories in dreamlike sequences.
