Description:
Meral (8) is new to town and struggling to make friends before school camp. At home, she befriends a mouse she names Peepeep. Worried her parents will harm him while she's away, she secretly brings Peepeep with her. The mouse helps Meral form unexpected friendships. When an owl catches Peepeep, Meral unfairly blames her new friends. However, searching for the owl pellet containing Peepeep’s remains teaches Meral the true meaning of friendship. OWLS & MICE is a sequel to FROGS & TOADS, by Simone van Dusseldorp.
