Description:
Danny DeVito stars in and directs this acclaimed short film from the HBO/Cinemax series "Likely Stories." DeVito portrays Vince D'Angelo, a corrupt Congressman seeking election as Senator of New Jersey. To win, he spreads damaging rumors about his opponents and uses provocative campaign ads. His campaign falters when he’s recorded accepting a bribe from an FBI agent disguised as a mobster. D'Angelo's response to the scandal, dubbed "Mobscam," is to claim he was conducting his own investigation, followed by staging a fake assassination to gain public sympathy.
