Description:
Tazio, a monk from Velletri known for supposed miracles, becomes the object of a wager when Messer Nuccio de 'Tornabuoni bets to win the heart of Lisa, the wife of the justice standard-bearer Lapo de' Pazzi. To achieve this, Tazio spreads rumors that he can cure women of lust. He poses as the famous monk while secretly abusing Lisa and Lapo's sister, Gigliola. This sets off a series of daring escapes, interspersed with Tazio's conquests of other women. Meanwhile, Tazio's actions draw the anger of betrayed husbands.
