Description:
This pilot episode (a spin-off from "Police Story") follows an aging street cop as he hunts a gang responsible for a series of robbery-rapes in his precinct during the 1975-76 television season. The character of the veteran police officer was also featured in the contemporary series "The Blue Knight," which was itself adapted from a work by Joseph Wambaugh. This episode is also known as "The Return of Joe Forrester."
