Johnny YesNo – Redux brings together Cabaret Voltaire and Peter Care after nearly 30 years, featuring a new cast, a move to Los Angeles, and a completely remixed soundtrack by Richard H. Kirk. The film retains its unsettling intensity, exploring the core of Care’s original work and the Cabaret Voltaire tracks associated with it. It presents a blend of different times and locations through visuals and sound. The narrative shifts as it's re-examined, but these changes feel profound. Richard H. Kirk has reworked the soundtrack to create a sense of something ominous gradually appearing from a distance, almost caught in the periphery.
