Uomoduomo (2000)

This film by Anri Sala presents a study of time and distance. Using remote recording devices, the work captures sounds from geographically disparate locations – often across vast stretches of sea or land. The resulting soundscapes explore the subtle shifts and echoes that connect these places, revealing the complex relationship between presence and absence, proximity and separation.
