Description:
Mayor Abdul Razek al-Sharshabi (Omar al-Sharif) faces a dilemma when his younger son, Tawfiq (Khalid al-Nabawi), is drafted into the army. His wife (Safiya al-Omari) pleads for them to find a substitute. The Mayor then convinces a struggling father named Abdul-Muqeem (Izzat al-Alayli) to send his only son, Masrey, in Tawfiq's place.
