Description:
In early 1991, the Yugoslav army still occupied military installations in Croatia, refusing to recognize Croatian independence. Gajski journeys to an island to secure his son's release from the army. The islanders have surrounded the barracks, staging a festival of song and poetry, hoping to persuade Major Aleksa and his troops to surrender. However, Aleksa has planted explosives throughout the barracks, intending to destroy the island.
