Description:
Five years after an economic collapse destroyed the government and banks, three people with very different backgrounds find their lives unexpectedly connected in a fortified village in rural Quebec. Léon is part of a group of honest scavengers, but after a violent incident, he clashes with his remaining companions. Marianne, the sole survivor of a brutal attack and the last of her family, is traveling to the village to find her aunt, unaware that her attackers are already there. Old Bob is determined to reconnect with his estranged brother. On his journey, he meets Josée, a rebellious teenager who sees him as a father figure. Following a fight at a bar, Bob is forced to take care of Josée.
