Description:

In Manchuria, a caravan carrying gold from the village of Hocheonpyo to the Kukja family is attacked and the goods stolen by bandits. The respected mediator, Paeng-deok, attempts to resolve the situation, but an old man named Kim is killed when he demands compensation. Korean man Han-seong defeats the bandits and recovers the gold. Kim's daughter, So-jeong, seeks revenge for her father's death. Investigating the attack site, Han-seong finds an emblem that suggests the bandits were working as a convoy for Hocheonpyo, and the emblem belongs to them. He discovers that Paeng-deok is his older brother. Paeng-deok gathers the compensation money, but Seo-jun is killed and the money is stolen during transport. Han-seong suspects Ho-chul, but Ho-chul dies from a poisoned dart. Han-seong realizes Paeng-deok orchestrated everything through Ho-chul.
