Description:
DJ Li Tong Zhe (Darren Chiu), used to city life, travels to the mountains of central Taiwan to record sounds for a segment commemorating the 921 earthquake. Staying with a teacher in a Bunun village, he experiences a stark contrast to his Taipei existence. He encounters A-Bu, a 10-year-old boy who lost his sight in the earthquake and isolates himself. A-Bu’s teacher, Zu Wei (Janine Chang), is using folk songs to encourage him to connect with others. While assisting A-Bu and Zu Wei, Tong Zhe begins to recognize what's missing from his own life.
