Description:
What if nobody believes you? Hanni, a farmer's wife and mother of three, is deeply concerned about her daughter Magdalena. Magdalena is smaller than her siblings, more sensitive, frequently nauseous, and experiencing worsening vision. Doctors, the teacher, and her own family attribute it to psychological issues, suggesting glasses with regular lenses will resolve the problem. But Hanni, as a mother, feels instinctively that glasses won't make a difference and that something more serious is happening. Haunted by a strange memory from her past, she relentlessly fights for her daughter’s well-being, risking her family's happiness and her own livelihood, ultimately challenging the Bavarian legal system.
