Straight 8 (2004)

Ed Sayers and Ben Gregor created a unique filmmaking challenge to connect with the film community. They distributed old Super 8 film cartridges to filmmakers, tasking them with producing a 3-minute film with no editing or post-production, and withholding the finished product until a live screening. The project gained popularity, attracting both established directors and students, and resulted in a short television series featuring approximately ten of the resulting films across two episodes.
