Description:
In the fall of 1973, Rachel Strode, a young immigrant hiding a troubled past, arrives in Israel to volunteer on a Kibbutz and convert to Judaism. She quickly discovers that the Kibbutz community is unwelcoming to outsiders. On the eve of Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, Rachel and her fellow volunteers face imminent danger. What starts as a festive celebration of youth transforms into a terrifying and violent night, forever changing the meaning of Yom Kippur 1973.
