A REYKJAVIK PORNO is a Nordic-noir, Icelandic-Scottish film. A student, troubled by online pornography, embarks on a reckless quest for revenge in the bleakness of Reykjavik. Over three days in the city's perpetual winter darkness, the freezing environment becomes the setting for a story of vengeance. Ingvar, a student from the countryside, stays with Laufey, an alcoholic landlady whose affection for him is desperate and unrequited; she is confined by her drinking and fear of the outside world. While Ingvar enjoys passionate encounters with his girlfriend Ada, he becomes consumed by a new website featuring "parent-porn," leading him tragically into Reykjavik's hidden darkness.
