Description:
In the Mediterranean Sea, the Earth Alliance and Orb Union fleets attack the Minerva again, with the Archangel unable to stop the fighting. Shinn battles the Orb fleet fueled by anger, while Kira and Athrun fight each other, resulting in the defeat of one of their lifelong friendships. Back in PLANT, Chairman Durandal reflects on his past and future plans, intending to eliminate those he sees as obstacles, including Lacus and the Archangel crew. Following the battle, Shinn faces a critical decision: Stella, the enemy pilot he vowed to protect, is now a captive on the Minerva, rapidly declining in health, forcing him to betray his beliefs to save her.
