Description:
Death Cab for Cutie's *Plans* album inspired an innovative collection of 11 short films, each directed by a different filmmaker and corresponding to a song from the album. The collection also features 2 bonus videos of previously unreleased songs. The project was created by otaku-house, a production company founded by Death Cab for Cutie's bassist Nick Harmer and video director Aaron Stewart-Ahn. They aimed to provide a platform for emerging artists to create short films set to Death Cab songs, moving beyond traditional music videos by excluding performance footage and the band's appearance. The goal was to produce individual works of art that collectively form a cohesive whole.
