Description:
In 1975, journalist Shintaro searches for his father and arrives at a remote island with a group of strangers. Their guide, Captain Yamada, leaves them there, and they are soon captured by a delusional soldier. Attempts to reason with him fail; he firmly believes World War II is still ongoing. After a month under the soldier's command, the islanders begin to share his conviction. They acquire weapons and prepare for an attack by an unseen enemy, reinforcing their defenses.
