Description:
On the eve of her eighteenth birthday, Myra Maynard is targeted for death by the devil-worshipping Black Order through black magic, a curse that afflicts her entire family. Dr. Payson Alden, a psychic detective who uses scientific methods, teams up with Haji, a Hindu mystic, to combat the cult's evil spells. Over fifteen episodes, Myra confronts a variety of supernatural threats including astral demons, a fire elemental, and a "thought monster" created by fifteen men. The series features levitation, crystal balls, automatic writing, mediums, witchcraft, a living golden idol, and many other bizarre elements that made it a landmark in film history.
