Description:

Lukas Maler is a butcher by trade, though it's more a matter of survival than a calling. He was once a highly respected forensic pathologist, known as the "Karajan with the scalpel," but his career ended when he inadvertently destroyed evidence in a case involving a serial killer dubbed the "24-hour-killer." His marriage to Diana, the woman he loves, suffered as a result, leaving him feeling broken. Lukas gets a second chance when a new serial killer begins terrorizing the city, committing murders that mirror those of the original "24-hour-killer." Diana, now head of the forensic institute, knows only the best can solve this case, but Lukas is the only option available. She reluctantly turns to the most overqualified person in town: the butcher.
