Sacrifice (2005) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event held on August 14, 2005, at the TNA Impact! Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the first in the Sacrifice series and the eighth PPV of the year for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). The card featured nine matches, plus a pre-show bout. The main event was a tag team match between Jeff Jarrett and Rhino against Raven and Sabu. The outcome determined whether Jarrett would receive a future NWA World Heavyweight Championship match, or if he would have to wait a year.
