An ex-rebel recounts his own acts of rape, struggling to rebuild his life amidst trauma. Seeking atonement, he attempts to connect with one of his victims to ask for forgiveness. Captain Basima, a priest in the Congolese army, confronts perpetrators and urges them toward change, mirroring his own journey.
