Description:
Based on a true story, this film follows Marten Brueckling, a retired music teacher from Germany, who inherits a rare piece of music—a manuscript from Bach's son. He must travel to Ouro Preto, Brazil, to retrieve it. Unexpectedly, Marten finds himself teaching music to children at a juvenile detention center. The blend of Bach's compositions with Brazilian instruments creates a unique connection, particularly with Fernando, a kind-hearted boy who has lived on the streets. Marten soon discovers they share a deeper bond than either initially realized.
