Description:
This visually stunning drama follows three women, connected by family but not close, as they begin to understand each other. Marie-Madeleine (Sylvie Drapeau), a photographer in her mid-30s, makes her first contact with Mado (France Arbour), her biological mother who gave her up for adoption. Marie-Madeleine invites Mado on a lengthy road trip for a magazine assignment, and her daughter (Isadora Galwey), who has never met her German father, joins them. The three women share their thoughts while traveling through a beautiful landscape to photograph birds. *Les Fantomes des Trois Madeleine* was featured at the 2000 Cannes Film Festival as part of the Directors Fortnight selection.
