Alibabayum Arara Kallanmarum (1998)

Diwakaran (Jagadish) works as a medical sales representative, but secretly he's also a thief – a secret only his friend Chaandy (Kalabhavan Mani) knows. Diwakaran mistakenly believes retired teacher Aravindakshan (Premachandran) is a politician and steals jewelry intended for his daughter’s wedding. The investigating police officer, Jayashankar (Vijayaraghavan), unexpectedly turns out to be Diwakaran's brother-in-law. Jayashankar then proposes a solution to Diwakaran: Aravindakshan’s daughter!
