U-SA-GUI (2002)

Tetsuji Kurashige's U-SA-GUI (2002) opens with a quote from Brillat-Savarin's 1825 book, The Physiology of Taste, about how stimulating foods, especially meat, can affect dreams. The film shows a disturbing game played by two rabbits and a woman who is blindfolded. The rabbits play an old-fashioned board game against each other. Each time they land on a square, the woman must eat the food pictured there. If she answers correctly, a die appears from her mouth and rolls onto the floor, determining the rabbits' next move.
