Description:
Lantouri is a Tehran gang known for daylight muggings and home invasions in the city's wealthy northern district. They also kidnap children from families who have gained wealth through corruption. The film opens with confessions from gang members, alongside perspectives from sociologists, human rights activists, and political figures. A gang member named Pasha becomes erratic because his feelings for Maryam, a determined journalist, are unrequited. The seriously injured Maryam demands Iran's legal principle of "an eye for an eye."
