Description:
Gingy McAnally (Anthony Brophy), a former IRA fighter recently released from prison, resists being pulled back into his old life. He carries out a violent assignment but is captured by a compassionate British police lieutenant, Ferris (Cary Elwes). A stern Belfast Police Chief Inspector (Timothy Dalton) persuades Gingy that his only path to survival is to become an informant and betray his former comrades. As his marriage crumbles under the pressure, Gingy confronts the harsh reality that everyone suffers in this conflict. Three men, representing different sides of the Northern Ireland struggle, each fight for their lives, driven by their own motives in the fight for control.
