Description:
Madrid, 1953. Gilda, a young orphan struggling to survive in post-Civil War Spain, is determined to become a radio announcer. She needs a union card, and she's willing to do whatever it takes to get one. She joins an ultra-Catholic group and becomes a police informant. But when her aunt, a Republican activist, commits suicide in prison, Gilda's plans are in jeopardy. Her only option is to use her charm.
