Description:
Gilles Lantier, a young reporter for AFP, is experiencing a nervous breakdown. Unable to find support from his friend Jean or girlfriend Eloïse, he seeks refuge with his sister Odile near Limoges. At a party, he meets Nathalie Sylvener, a wealthy woman, and they fall in love instantly. Back in Paris, Gilles tells Eloïse he's committed to Nathalie. Although Nathalie agrees to move in with him, she refuses his proposal of marriage. Their life together settles into a routine, and their passion fades. Then, Nathalie vanishes from Gilles' life.
