Description:
Karin Wegemann, recently moved from active duty at the LKA to teaching at the police academy, finds her career change unfulfilling. Her superiors recognize her restlessness. She meets investigative journalist Maik Fellner, who has struggled for years to expose child trafficking in Germany, his efforts often dismissed. Fellner needs Wegemann's skills as an active officer and reveals a lead from a 14-year-old witness in Potsdam, pointing to a child trafficking ring. Wegemann's investigation puts her in danger, as the criminals are aware of the witness.
