Description:
A fortune teller reveals to Taisho that he must hunt 1000 foxes to gain control of the nation. Unpopular Akuemon is tasked with this daunting mission. In response, the foxes send a female fox disguised as his wife. A relationship develops between Akuemon, who has never known love, and the fox, who gradually discovers genuine affection for him while grieving for her fallen companions. This is the sixth story in "The Lion Books" series and the first animated adaptation of his father Tezuka's work by Makoto Tezuka.
