Description:
Handcuffs is a short film inspired by the director's real-life experience of witnessing a couple engaging in public BDSM. Premiering at the 2009 Venice Circuito Off Festival, the film depicts a story of role-play, seduction, and sex performed openly in Barcelona. Filmed in the stylish Coppelia cocktail bar, the camera follows the kinky couple, played by Natalia Paris and Paco Roca, as they unknowingly are observed by a curious voyeur. The film raises questions about voyeurism and the allure of public displays of intimacy. Handcuffs premiered in 2009 at Circuito Off in Venice, Italy, and received awards at the CineKink Festival in New York (2010) and the Feminist Porn Awards in Toronto (2010).
