Description:
In the Italian city of Ostuni, Puglia, the mute seminarian Ercole is assigned to drive and care for Parsifal, the paraplegic son of a wealthy and outwardly pious family. Ercole develops a relationship with Parsifal's wife, the alluring Baroness Clotilde. Within a world driven by wealth, desire, and influence, everyone seeks to exploit others, but Ercole ultimately proves to be the most parasitic of them all.
