In September 2007, singer-songwriter Ani DiFranco played two sold-out concerts for a hometown crowd in Buffalo, New York. These performances were particularly special because they marked the opening shows at Babeville, her own newly restored music venue – a former church saved from demolition. DiFranco presented a two-night retrospective, reimagining songs from throughout her career with her current touring band, featuring Allison Miller on drums, Todd Sickafoose on upright bass, and Mike Dillon on vibes and percussion.
