Description:

After his wife leaves him and his research funding is revoked, brilliant but unstable nuclear scientist Rogers Henry builds Medusa, a thermonuclear bomb designed to create a massive electromagnetic pulse capable of disabling all computer systems across an entire continent. He manipulates his wife into transporting the bomb to the Pentagon, planning to destroy the government as an act of revenge. Medusa is rigged to detonate if his wife's pacemaker isn't close enough to it before the countdown ends. The bomb is armed on a cargo plane piloted by Scott Nash, and with Hurricane Sigrid approaching, authorities are desperate to prevent them from landing. Based on the novel by John J. Nance.
