Description:
At ten years old, Australian Andi Gibson experienced what she calls a close encounter with a flying saucer, a claim dismissed by everyone around her. Seventeen years later, an alien armada attacks Australia and simultaneously kidnaps her mother. Other countries, offended by being excluded, refuse to help. Andi, along with her hypochondriac brother Elliot, retired boxer cousin Keith, and documentary filmmaker friend Cam, must stop the attack and rescue her mother. They enlist the help of Andi's enigmatic father and face spaceships, martial-arts aliens, giant robots, and long-hidden family secrets in their fight to save Australia.
